TrustedSource (trustedsource.us) is published by Cone Red Inc, Sheridan, WY, USA. This page explains what information this site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
When you visit this site
We count visits so we can see which pages are useful and how people find them, for example through an answer in an AI assistant such as ChatGPT. For this we use Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we run on our own server. When you open a page, your browser sends us:
- the page you opened and its title, including any tags in the link that brought you here (for example
utm_source=chatgpt.com); - the website that sent you here, if any;
- your browser, operating system, type of device, screen size and language;
- your approximate location (country, region and city), worked out from your internet (IP) address.
Umami does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not follow you across other websites. We do not use advertising trackers, and we never sell this information or share it for advertising. The site works the same if your browser or a content blocker stops the analytics.
Hosting and server logs
The pages of this site are delivered by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), which handles your request, including your IP address, in order to show you the page. Our analytics runs on a server we rent from Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany, so information you send us is stored there. Like most web servers, ours keeps a technical log of requests (IP address, time, the address requested and the browser) to keep the service secure and working.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to [email protected]. You can also block the analytics in your browser at any time; nothing on the site depends on it.
Changes to this page
If what this site collects changes, we update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
